Thanksgiving Appreciations

Dear Friends, Students and Families,

It has been a year of change and growth for many of us. I invite you to take a moment and think about all the people in your lives who have supported you, given you a hug when you needed it or even made you smile and write them an appreciation.


During this holiday time, I am personally amazed by all the people who have supported me in my teaching and working with young people. It can be challenging work and also so rewarding. Thank you to the many who have helped in so many ways.

Take a few minutes and think of someone to appreciate... tell us about them and how they have helped you this past year.

Halloweeen 2009- Your Weekend

Welcome to our blog! Last weekend was a busy one here in Ashland with Halloween falling on a Saturday. We had a parade and party at school. In the town of Ashland there is a tradition of celebration, with a run, called the Monster Dash, a children's parade and then in the evening, children "Trick or Treat" and adults go on the town... Lot's of fun... My class is going to share with you and perhaps your children could respond with posts about their weekend... maybe about sports they play and what they do for fun...
